Do you ever go to your closet and wish you could find a quick way to look put together without any effort? This is where throw on and go style dresses are essential for anyone who wants an easy, effortless chic way to get dressed with no fuss. I was obsessing with all the many fantastic dress options that Anthropologie has for Spring that are throw on and go style, and found that they are flattering, great for any body type, cool for spring/summer, and can get you out the door in 5 minutes or less.
THROW ON AND GO STYLE: LEG-BARING DRESSES
Take the Loren Tunic Dress ($158) by Dolan Left Coast for example; this darling dress has two convenient front pockets, comes in three beautiful colors (including black at the top of this post), and is in a sleek comfortable Cupro fabric. All you need is to add an eye-catching bag like the Adilah Bucket Bag ($428) and cute flats, like the Bibi Lou Beaded Ankle Wrap Espadrilles ($78) and you’re ready to walk out the door.
The Medallion Silk Dress ($168) has a fantastic print in the new navy colorway; add a colorful tote like the Emily Plaid Mesh Tote ($128) and the Bettye Muller Metallic Ace 2 Slingbacks ($68), and you’re beach or brunch ready with your throw on and go style.
There’s a colorful pattern, an easy asymmetrical hem and a lovely one-shoulder that makes the Waverly Midi Dress ($138) a perfect warm weather look.
The Elira Stripe Dress ($158) by Holding Horses has a flirty hem and breezy fabric. Perfect for throw on and go style walks in the dessert.
Continuing with my stripe obsession is the no fuss easy to throw on and go Camden Shirtdress ($168).
There’s an easy cool chic vibe with the effortless throw on and go style of the Mel Caftan Dress ($268).

There’s something so feminine and easy about the Petite Edie Dress ($168).
The Petite Leah Dress ($176) is vibrant, versatile and spring/summer ready.

The throw on and go style Doll Trim Shift Dress ($268) makes it’s presence known with its playful embroidered dolls at the hem.
THROW ON AND GO STYLE: MIDI DRESSES
Eva Franco puts a colorful spin on the Rainbow Crochet Midi Dress ($188) with its vibrant vertical stripes, cinched waist, and throw on and go ease, making it an easy choice to grab in your closet (shown with the All Black D’Orsay Flats ($158).
One of my favorite throw on and go style dresses is the Palisades Embroidered Midi Dress ($168); love the vibrant embroidery, the ease of the buttondown and the perfect length for all heights (shown with the U Dot Two Tone Slip-Ons (now $229.95).
I want the black colorway of the dress as well.
THROW ON AND GO STYLE: MAXI DRESSES
I couldn’t wait to find out what dress I saw in my latest post trip to my hometown Anthropologie. Well, the Vera Silk Maxi Dress ($198) doesn’t disappoint with its elegance and earthy print (shown with the Polly Backpack ($78) and the Bettye Muller Damien Micro-Wedges ($88).
And to round out my list of throw on and go style dresses, is the beautiful embroidered Sidella Maxi Dress ($268). All you do is add similar shoes such as the Inesia Peep-Toe Pumps ($79) and you’re ready to make a statement out the door.
A closeup of the front shows the beautiful floral embroidery and trim detail along the bodice and neckline making this dress a real standout.
With spring and summer arriving there’s nothing more essential than to reach in your closet for fast, easy, effortless style that comes with the throw on and go style dresses.Wow, this is a long list, but Anthropologie had so many great options that I couldn’t choose just 10 or even 20 dresses. My obsession continues and I love all of these choices. Have you found any throw on and go style dresses that you love?
